I have helped hundreds of employees in the Peterborough area obtain the compensation that is due to them in the following situations:

  • termination without cause
  • termination where cause is alleged
  • discrimination contrary to the Human Rights Code, including discrimination based on disability, age and sex
  • frustration of the employment contract by illness or injury
  • constructive termination, such as improper layoff, alteration of significant employment terms, harassment, and refusal to accommodate Human Rights Code requirments
  • employer refusal to pay overtime to managers, who do some work similar to staff they manage, at a premium rate as required by the Employment Standards Act
  • termination following employee complaint about a workplace safety issue, contrary to the Occupational Health and Safety Act
